Environmental Policy
Our company's activities implemented - inter alia - through constant training of its employees at all levels - are aimed to follow and adopt the highest known standards of safety at sea, prevention of human injury or loss of life, with strict adherence to and implementation of all the relevant requirements of the various international conventions dealing with the prevention of environment and property damage.

Communication and information Services
The Company has developed and operates sophisticated information and communication systems. These systems integrate all of the Company's activities and operations through a worldwide computer network that links over 200 sites. Customers can be linked to the Company's network and benefit from on-line current information. The Company co-ordinates and monitors its fleet of vessels, containers and chassis, in addition to other services it provides, using its modern information and communication systems. The Company's worldwide network includes 3,000 online computer terminals at the Company's head office, area offices, ports and agents' offices, as well as on board vessels. The system is designed to co-ordinate shipping schedules, optimize the loading of containers onto vessels and to facilitate the planning of transportation schedules. The system also processes cargo bookings, generates bill of lading and cargo manifests, expedites customs clearance, facilitates equipment control and the planning and management of intermodal transportation. In addition, the system provides the Company's management with operational data, including monthly financial results and expenses incurred for each voyage, routes, mileage information and other information.
Quality Assurance
WOrld Wide Shipping has established a quality assurance unit which is charged with obtaining ISO 9002 certification for the Company's units and upholding it thereafter; coordinating ISM (International Safety Management standards); organization and system services; and handling documentation changes and current needs. All WOrld Wide Shipping vessels comply with the International Safety Management regulations, and WOrld Wide Shipping is pledged to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality, as well as to comply with marine-environment protection procedures.
